Meet Dr. Janet
Janet Volpe is a practicing pediatrician in Santa Cruz, California. She received her BA in Biology from UC Santa Barbara, her MD and Master of Public Health from Tufts University, and completed her Pediatric Internship and Residency at Stanford University.
She is Board-Certified in Pediatrics and in Integrative and Holistic Medicine. She is trained in Functional Medicine, HeartMath Institute, and the Center for Mind Body Medicine.
What is Integrative Medicine?
The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine at the National Institutes of Health states that integrative medicine, “combines mainstream medical therapies and complementary and alternative medicine therapies for which there is some high-quality scientific evidence of safety and effectiveness”.
